Ant Yapi UK LTD (ENR Top 250 contractor worldwide) is looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to oversee a 12-storey high end residential project in Central London (+95 million £ project)Responsibilities but not limited:
Ownership of general high-end finishing works on site.
Develop site specific programme with senior management and continually review sub-contractors continually. Implement, monitor and enforce procedures to follow challenging completion programme.
Issue written and verbal notices to sub-contractors to sequence correct and efficient work stream.
Instigate, control and run different trades to project completion. Analyse and raise risks to attention of the higher management for mitigation of risks timely.
Daily liaison with site team and sub-contractors to set goals to prevent delays and elimination of excuses proactively.
Generate, observe and enforce short work programmes.
Demonstrate a high level of technical and problem-solving technique, offer efficient solutions to daily problems. Work closely with site team and sub-contractor managers to review and develop flow of works.
Monitor and inspect ongoing works, raise snags and run desnagging programme. Address any issue jeopardizing high quality finishing works. Report Snags and liaise with sub-contractors for timely completion of snags and prevent potential repeated items inthe future.
Ensuring QA system is followed and hold points are followed accordingly.
Recording of red pen drawings and coordinating the as-built drawings with design office.
Selecting and ordering all required tools and materials (when required).
Discharge Health and Safety responsibilities in accordance with Safety, Health and Environment Management System requirements.
Qualifications and Key Skills Required:
SMSTS
Previous similar high end residential finishing works management experience.
Previous industry experience
Proven experience in the management of employees and teams
Ability to take ownership of works, solve problems and implement actions.
Commitment to customer care and customer focus
Good IT skills, including previous use with MS Office software.
Strong technical knowledge.
Previous experience in working with JCT contracts is advantageous.
