WELDER
Key Objectives
Main tasks;
- Primarily MIG welding of general fabrication and fabricated assemblies
- Potential to train on other coded welding processes using MMA, SAW & FCAW
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- Current or previous experience in MIG welding of general fabrications
- Completion of Recognised Craft Apprenticeship
- Good overall diversity in various welding processes
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Must be conversant with fabrication drawings generated from AutoCAD
- Reasonable general fitness level required to undertake many of the processes
