Role:
CNC Operator (Aluminium windows, doors and curtain wall)

Location:
Aston, Birmingham

Salary Band:
£20 - £24k

Schedule:
Mon - Thurs (39 hours per week)

Responsibilities

Achieving daily production target as per production schedule
Reporting all deficiencies and issues concerning Health & Safety, your working environment, equipment, and quality to your Line Manager
Assisting in the factory's program of continuous improvement
Quality checking all material prior to the CNC process
Maintaining CNC machinery
Conducting machinery checks and adjustments in preparation for aluminium window and door fabrication, including calibrations for accuracy of machine operation
Measuring, cutting, and preparing the profile length of aluminium that will form the finished product
High attention to detail to make sure measurements are accurate to prevent mistakes and wastage
Checking and inspecting the product for any damage or imperfections in the frame or paintwork. Ensuring any issues are reported to the line manager in a timely manner.
Completing audit documentation
Adhering to the business' values (see below)

Requirements:

Must have previous experience operating CNC machinery
A working knowledge of aluminium materials and their machining properties
Ability to read paperwork and input the data correctly to produce precise cuts on the saw
Excellent communication skills
Problem Solving
Being able to work confidently on their own and raise issues
High attention to detail
High level of accuracy
