This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a hugely skilled and experienced team planning repairs and overhaul for our seating and safety products for BA and other customers, providing key business reporting and working to grow profitable work as the focal for our other customer work.

Working in the impressive and purpose-built Aircraft Maintenance facility located on Cardiff International Airport, you'll be an integral team player supporting the business to ensure that aircraft components are maintained and kept in perfect working order.

You will be provided with opportunities to develop your existing skills and knowledge whilst gaining invaluable new ones, setting you up for a bright future within BA Engineering Wales.

Qualifications / experience

Indentured Paint Finishing apprenticeship or equivalent
Proven numerical skills
Proven literacy skills

Numerical

GCSE Maths or equivalent

Literacy

GCSE English or equivalent
Understanding of COSHH information relevant to paints and chemicals in the aviation industry

Skills / capabilities

You will have good computer skills
Be Self Motivated
You will demonstrate good interpersonal and people skills and be an effective communicator
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Able to prioritise work to support the timely delivery of the plan
Experience in an aviation environment is desirable but not essential
