We are seeking a Security Supervisor to join our team at the National Grid Gas Works site in St Neots

This is a static position, in order to provide a visual deterrent to protect our clients property and assets, along with controlling access for all personnel and vehicles wanting to enter onto site.

Excellent communication skills are essential in this position, as you will be in constant communication via radios to your team.

Shifts:

Mon-Fri Days only.
12 Hour shifts
60 Hrs per week
Overtime available across multiple sites

Hours available:
Days [06:30-18:30]

Location:
PE19 5NX

Rate of Pay:
£10.50 p/h

Contract Duration: 18 Month

Requirements:

Valid SIA License
Valid vehicle/driving license
Smart. Well groomed. Confidant
Flexible attitude to working times. Reliable.
Outstanding Customer service and communication skills
Diligent always. Especially when writing reports
Excellent Time Management Skills. Punctual
Conflict management awareness
Security systems knowledge
Full 5year employment/educational history
Available for additional shifts

Roles and Responsibilities:

Providing a high level of customer service
Projecting a smart, efficient and helpful image at all times
Protecting the client's property and employees against loss or damage caused by fire, flood, accident, wastage, vandalism and theft
Controlling authorised access/egress of pedestrian and vehicular traffic on and off site
Respond to emergency situations in a professional manner
Responding to alarms, incidents and suspicious behaviour quickly and efficiently
Reporting all matters regarding Health & Safety and Security, potential breaches of security or unusual occurrences
Enhancing security levels and maintaining a vigilant presence This is an employed position only
