Hours of Work however flexibility required as necessary to fulfil role and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
To provide tax accounting support and compliance to include but not limited to
- Support overall management of LGE UK corporate tax compliance with UK and Irish Tax Authorities
- Meet internal and external reporting deadlines to deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations
- Collate and review monthly transactions for various tax compliance
- VAT: review the data provided by European Tax Centre, reconcile it with monthly data and file VAT returns (UK: monthly, Ireland: bimonthly)
- Monthly reporting of Intrastat, EU acquisitions and Reverse Charge Mobiles
- Corporation Tax: collate and analyse data for corporation tax return and liaise with external tax advisors for review and filing the returns, make necessary payments on account periodically.
- Employer PAYE review with HR (P11D, PSA, P46, Short Term Business Visitors(STBV) etc)
- Taxed Award Scheme: liaise with relevant department for filing the return
- FSE Tax return support to HR
- Periodic Tax training to various departments
- Support month/year end closing with tax accruals
- Improve processes by developing and implementing best practices
- Update tax management process and Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Support all tax compliance(Large Business Tax Compliance, Transfer Pricing, Senior Accounting Officer, Double Taxation Treaty) and tax audit.
- Any other adhoc duties as required by the department.
The Person
Mixed tax experience is preferred, as this role offers a diverse range of duties across VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, PAYE.

Qualifications:
Qualified ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT
Experience:
Newly qualified or with reasonable experience
