Northgate Vehicle Hire has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join our vibrant, evolving business and take the lead in developing and delivering the digital marketing strategy and planning for the business.

NorthgateVehicle Hire (part of the Redde Northgate plc group) is one of the UK's leading vehicle rental and mobility solutions specialists, bringing to life the Northgate experience for our B2B customers.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will successfully take ownership and accountability for the Northgate trading plan, using PPC and other digital activity to drive lead generation, as well as take ownership of the Northgate website, making requiredCMS changes to the site and working closely with Web development colleagues.


You will be responsible for the trading targets and associated budgets for Northgate and must have previous experience of working with Digital media, CRO and SEO agencies to ensure the best commercial outcomes.

You will also develop and mentor the Digital Marketing Executive to get the best from them whilst supporting them in their career.


About you

  • Lead accountability for the achievement of the digital KPIs across Northgate Vehicle Hire UK (including Lead Generation).
  • Responsible for working with the Digital agency to develop, create and execute the digital marketing plan spanning multiple channels to drive cost effective and quality demand for the Northgate brand to achieve acquisition and other channel objectives
  • Monitor and evolve KPI's and use web analytics capability to effectively measure & optimise BAU and campaigns, presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage customer experience on the website using 3rd party tools such as AB testing, working alongside the digital agency CRO team to improve UX on site with ongoing heuristic evaluation.
  • Own and manage ongoing lead generation and acquisition, optimising channels for efficiency against business KPIs and Cost per Lead metrics.
  • With IT, agency and internal stakeholders, help develop and execute the digital roadmap identifying and implementing new tools and experiences appropriate for maximising digital value
  • Constantly monitor the performance of Northgate in the marketplace, taking swift action to address any issues as necessary
  • Contribute to the formation and achievement of overall digital strategy, providing research and data insights to support growth of this key channel
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships and expectations with other business units and functions
  • Key member of Northgate team to deliver annual operating plan.
