The Position

Level 3 Business Administrator


Apprenticeship Duration:

18 months + EPA


Location:

Warrington WA7


Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 9 to 17:00


Salary:

£11,000


Role and Responsibilities
Organize and complete administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the Installations department. The Business Administrator will work closely with the Installations department, assisting with coordination and planning of installations works.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor activity of Technicians on daily basis ensuring they have logged in on time and have completed all daily procedures.
  • Produce and verify timesheets for all Technicians on a weekly basis.
  • Organizing/booking hotels, ferries and flights for Technicians and arranging access with Sites.
  • Create/file documentation including Site Logs and drawings as required.
  • Assisting with Health and Safety, including preparation of Risk Assessment and Method Statements.
  • Schedule Technicians based upon Installations Team Leader guidelines and as per Program of Works
  • Raising PO's / ordering of materials and hire equipment.
  • Create Sales Quotes / chasing for Client acceptance as required.
  • Chasing for acceptance of small quotes as required.
  • Liaising with recruitment companies to hire additional Technicians as required.
  • Vehicle management.
  • Ordering supplies of stationary.
  • Internal distribution of telephone calls.
  • Maintaining the condition and tidiness of the office.
  • Updating CRM system.
  • General admin tasks as required.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:


  • Attention to detail and taking pride in producing a high standard of work.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a small team.
  • Excellent timekeeping.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Beneficial skills/experience (MS365 Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Education/ Training requirements (Business Administrator (Level 3) Apprenticeship scheme)

Salary/Benefits
- £11k per annum (whilst undertaking Apprenticeship)

  • Workplace Pension
  • Working hours: 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday.28 days holiday pro rata (including Bank Holidays), plus one extra day for each full year of service (up to 33 days max)
