Applications are invited for the posts of Clinical Fellowships in either General Surgery (Colorectal) or Advanced Pelvic Malignancy, based at Addenbrooke's Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Post 1:
Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5 / ST6+) in General Surgery (Colorectal).

Clinical Fellow Higher/Senior (ST6+ / Post CCT) in General Surgery (Advanced Pelvic Malignancy).

The successful post holder will undertake duties as required by the demands of the Colorectal Unit service, and these duties will include clinical work, emergency and elective surgery within the colorectal firm, ward work, outpatient clinics and other duties as required by consultants.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+): The work will be shared by five other senior colorectal trainees and the post holder.
The post holder will be expected to carry out some degree of clinical work independently and will participate in the middle grade general surgery on-call rota.
All posts offer significant opportunities for subspecialist training, audit and clinical research within the Department of colorectal surgery.Advanced Pelvic Malignancy Fellowship:
The APM Fellow does not participate in the on call rota, and has responsibility for supporting the APM Specialty MDT and service.
