Do you have excellent customer service skills and would like to join our friendly and professional branches team? If so, this opportunity could be perfect for you


In this role you will provide excellent customer service through our branch network, promoting our products and services, whilst identifying opportunities to drive process efficiency to benefit the Society and customers.


Hours:

This is a permanent full-time position which will include working every other Saturday between 8.45 am and 12 noon.


Location:

Head office based in Tipton, other branches located in Coseley, Bilston and Sedgley, in this role you may be required to work at any of these sites.


In this role you will:


  • Provide excellent customer service, embracing the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and the Society's values.
  • Produce a high quality of work including all cashiering functions and accurate standing data.
  • Make a contribution to our Mortgage and Protection referral targets.
  • Take responsibility for your own actions, deadlines and targets, ensuring good customer outcomes.
  • Be well organised, able to show initiative and resourcefulness and be a flexible team player with an ability to work under pressure both in a team and independently.
  • Adopt a positive approach towards customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and are comfortable dealing with third parties, colleagues and our customers.
  • A right firsttime approach with a desire to demonstrate accountability and ownership through completion of tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Computer skills to enable you to use a variety of different systems and software (training will be provided).
  • 5 GCSE's at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C, or equivalent) including Maths and English Language.
  • Previous work experience in a customer service environment.
  • A good understanding of what a customer service advisor role within a financial organisation entails.
