Description

Acorn Recruitment is searching for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their client, a manufacturing business in Liverpool.

Working as part of the engineering team, the purpose of the role is to ensure the condition and performance of the plant and equipment meet the agreed safety, quality, production, productivity and cost requirements of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

Carry out Planned Preventative maintenance on a full range of equipment within the site
React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties, and work efficiently to fix the issue.
Put health and safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all H&S standards and regulations
Management and control of engineering contractors
Complete & manage maintenance paperwork and update the site computerised maintenance system
Identify and order spares as required

Experience dealing with highly flammable products is desirable.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:30om
Salary is dependent on knowledge and skills to offer
