Our client is a top 100 national law firm seeking a Risk Advisor to support their team in Oxfordshire on a hybrid working basis.

In this role, you will advise on risk and compliance issues and manage registers and records.

You will need knowledge of compliance as relevant to a law firm, such as the SRA Standards and Regulations, data protection and AML.

Ideally, you will have riskand compliance experience gained at a law firm.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all incoming queries, providing guidance or escalating when appropriate
  • Maintaining risk and compliance registers and databases, including breaches, data requests, AML records and conflicts
  • Assisting with external audits (Lexcel, AML, Legal Aid Agency)
  • Drafting risk and compliance updates and notices
  • Assisting with induction training for new starters
  • Horizon scanning for relevant changes to regulations and legislation
