    Description

    Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

    Location: Oxford-based Static Site

    Contract Type: Fixed-term with Facilities Management Company

    Remuneration: Up to £37,000 per annum

    We seek an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer with a background in facilities management. A stable position is available at a static site near Oxford, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and training.

    Main Responsibilities:

    1. Perform routine planned preventative maintenance tasks and complete associated documentation
    2. Respond to reactive and emergency breakdowns, documenting all actions taken
    3. Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support to clients
    4. Oversee visiting subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety protocols
    5. Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing duties
    6. Ensure accurate and timely completion of work-related documentation
    7. Maintain familiarity with and compliance to all health and safety policies and procedures
    8. Daily performance of PPM and reactive maintenance tasks, including inspection of UPS systems, plumbing, drainage, boiler rooms, cooling towers, fan coil units, AHUs, fans, and heating pumps

    Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

    1. Holding City & Guilds or NVQ mechanical qualifications (or equivalent)
    2. Previous experience in commercial environments, with good building services knowledge
    3. Able to collaborate effectively within a team environment
    4. Pass a DBS check
