Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a well-established Housing Association for a
Service Manager to manage two Young Person year old) services.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with leadership experience who is willing to lead a team and make a difference on a permanent basis.


Type:
Permanent


Hours: 37.5 per week


Shifts:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm


On-Call: 1 in every 14 weeks


Main responsibilities:


  • Carry out regular supervision and appraisal of staff, identifying individual training needs and ensuring training is up to date
  • Promote and encourage effective communication between team members including through regular team meetings
  • Maintain good working relationships with other health and social service professionals and agencies involved with residents or the Association
  • Ensure that all staff are aware of the Associations policies and procedures and are informed promptly of changes
  • Ensure the safe keeping and administration of drugs in accordance with agreed policy and legislation
  • Ensure residents individual needs are identified and met
  • Support each individual in the development of everyday living skills
  • To participate in the oncall system

Essential Requirements:


  • Experience of line managing a team in a similar environment
  • A full valid UK driving License and access to your own vehicle
  • An Enhanced DBS with the Adults and Children's lists checked or the willingness to obtain
