Financial Assessment Officer
(Financial Assessments Team, Town Hall and Civic Offices)
£24,496 pa

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Financial Assessment Team in South Tyneside Council.


Applicants will ideally have experience of working in a financial assessment or welfare benefits environment; they should also be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

In addition, you will be expected to communicate with a wide range of people both within and external to the Council.

South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
