Description

MMP Consultancy are currently seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to work an interim contract with a public sector housing organisation in Buckinghamshire.

£300 per day (Inside IR35) - Neg.
Currently around 20 live cases to manage from letter of claim to completion.
Key Duties

Manage Disrepair cases from letter of claim within the organisation in their entirety to ensure a seamless delivery of service.
Manage quality of work provided by the contractor in delivering the repairs service, ensuring it is maintained to the high standard and the tenant's expectations are met where possible, or managed correctly.
Identify all information and data with relation to the case at hand. Document and utilise this information to understand liability and issues which can be fixed.
Manage outcomes and resolutions in negating legal disrepair claims.
Pre and post inspections / investigations in relation to disrepair cases.
Raising work orders within the repairs policy, utilising National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates and reflect any variations / recommendations made by Single Joint Experts.
Prioritise work and manage communications and correspondence.
Work with the Disrepair Manager regarding escalated cases, compensation claims and court proceedings.
Assist Solicitors with information for any cases that go legal.
