HR Administrator - Apprenticeship

Basic Salary from £18,000 up to £20,000 per annum

You will be enrolled on the HR Support CIPD apprenticeship course on the next available intake.

We have hybrid working arrangements split across our Byfleet, Surrey office and home working

Travel across our branch network will also be required

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with 20% of your working time allocated to studying during the apprenticeship.

Requirements:


In this role, you will be working as a key part of the HR team, acting as the champion for the new starter experience to ensure all colleagues are set up for success, from the point of offer and throughout induction.

You will also support the HR and L&D teams with key activities in the colleague lifecycle, including coordinating training sessions, managing change of details processes, and writing and issuing correspondence.

As well as developing an awareness of the overall company objectives, you will be able to relay this to employees, form a culture, manage behaviours, and how to best support managers


Apprenticeship


We will enroll you on the Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship course and all costs will be paid for by the company.

This apprenticeship is accredited by the CIPD, the professional body for experts in people at work.

this course will help you develop a set of foundational skills and knowledge needed to be a part of a modern HR function.

The course will take 12-15 months and will include blended learning and an assessment.


Duties will include;

  • Creating new employee records, offers and contracts, and updating the HR system.
  • Completing all onboarding and compliance checks
  • Ensuring all colleagues documentation is accurately completed and HR system is updated, chasing and escalating as required.
  • Compiling induction plans for all new employees, liaising with line managers and relevant departments to ensure all resources and equipment is ready for their first day
  • Updating and maintaining the elearning database, ensuring compliance is maintained throughout
  • Being the first point of contact on employees first day, and completing ID checks
  • General support to the members of the HR team as and when required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships and deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Structured and organised, focused on finding & communicating the best solution possible for all parties, in a timely manner
  • Self motivated, focused on achieving deadlines with a high attention to detail
  • Technologically competent with Microsoft packages and willing to learn bespoke software and processes
  • Able to work independently and also as part of a team, effectively contributing toward departmental projects, targets and wider objectives
  • Confident, resilient and consistent when faced with conflict, and driven to resolve challenges positively
