Emtec Building Services are pleased to announce an
exciting opportunity for a
Certified Welder to join their Off-Site Manufacturing team.

Key responsibilities
- Ability to work as a team and work to the workshop supervisors stringent planning
- Detail when consumables for welding operations are needing replenished in advance.
- Quality of work and completion of QA documentation on tasks undertaken.
- Able to read and check detailed production drawings and specifications on welding and adopt the correct welding procedures
- Undertake site and works visits as required by the execution of his / her duties
- Report progress to workshop manager
- Flexible working and be able to install pumps and heating accessories when required to work with the manufacturing and assembly workshop team
Key Requirements
Essential
- Relevant apprenticeship to (BSc, BEng); in welding techniques Lloyd's register, or similar accredited or similar experience BS ISO156142, BS EN28
- Able to use modern TIG, MIG, Electrode welding machinery and weld up to a high standard as welds will be NDT tested for projects
- HVAC experience on plantrooms and pipework
- Capable of working with minimum supervision
- Ability and willingness to travel and work within the office or based on sites as required
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to engineer solutions on all fabrication tasks
- ECS/CSCS
- Driving licence
