PROJECT OFFICER
Main Purpose:
To support the Business Director to ensure the viability and stability of West House through:
- Project management of system and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Oversight and monitoring of objectives and outcomes

Salary:
£28,439 - £30,150
Hours: 39 hours per week

PROJECT OFFICER MAIN DUTIES
MAIN DUTIES:

Use a project management approach to:
- Monitor and report on the project's progress, budget and resources
- Oversee projects and support to mitigate issues and challenges
- Schedule tasks and managing resources
- Develop and monitor quality assurance and performance management approaches
- Identify and monitor project specific risks
- Produce accurate reports to specified deadlines
- Research and report upon factors impacting business and project performance
- Organise meetings and set agendas
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Update and maintain project records and documentation
- Distributing project documentation

Support the Business Director and Finance Manager to:
- Scope, implement and monitor business systems across the organisation
- Develop and implement effective finance and performance administration systems, policies and procedures, including but not limited to following areas:
- Contracts and Debt management
- Accounts
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Cash flow management
- Banking
- Improve and develop business support services to increase efficiency and reduce waste and promote financial independence for the people we support
- Improve and develop management information and reporting functions
- Develop and manage relationships to support change management across the organisation and with external stakeholders
Other Duties
- To support across the wider Business Team as required to ensure that organisational objectives and demands are met
- To uphold and promote the West House Vision, Mission and Values and to have a positive approach to the needs and aspirations of people with disabilities.
- To attend relevant training in order to learn and improve professional skills which are relevant to the post.
- To take part in an annual performance review.
- To always act in a professional manner in accordance with West House policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with West House policies and procedures and ensure that they are adhered to.
- To undertake any other duties which may be reasonably required. This may include transfer to another location.
- To be aware and adhere to the responsibilities of employees under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

SKILLS:
- Problem solving.
- Analytical.
- Report writing.
- Knowledge of database management and good command over MS Office.
- Good understanding to work with project budgets, forecasts and reports.
- Good communication skills (both oral and written).
- Proficient in both verbal and written English.

Salary:
£28,439.00-£30,150.00 per year
