    Become an In-House Privacy Counsel at Career Legal

    We are seeking a Qualified Lawyer who specialises in Data Privacy/Protection, to join our team on a 12m FTC in our Birmingham office.

    Estimated Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 per annum

    Job Overview:

    Our team is responsible for managing our data protection and client confidentiality risk. The successful candidate will work closely with our business to ensure compliance with data regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supporting the business in managing its data protection and client confidentiality risk
    • Providing privacy and data input on client questionnaires
    • Drafting policies and guidance, as well as in-depth training when needed
    • Responding to queries from the business on data, privacy and confidentiality
    • Assisting with data subject rights requests
    • Reviewing and advising on data and privacy aspects of our client terms
    • Assisting with Privacy Impact Assessments and additional DP risk assessments

    Requirements:

    • 2-5 years' PQE in Data Privacy/Protection
    • Ideal qualification within Data Protection
    • Able to commute to our Birmingham office a minimum of three days per week
