Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Head Housekeeper to join our team in providing exceptional hospitality services at our hotel.

As the Executive Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.


Duties:


  • Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Including team rotas and holidays requests.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests and services. Could include some Duty Management work alongside your own roles and responsabilities.
  • Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the maintenance department to address any repairs or maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas. Keep on top of all maintence work with regular checks in the rooms and public areas.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Completing Health and Safety documents as needed.

Skills:


  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations

Pay:
£12.75-£13.50 per hour
