In 2018, we saw that by creating this scheme we could support ambitious people to gain a professional qualification alongside real-world work experience at the same time, and our business would benefit from the energy and fresh thinking that an under-graduate could contribute.

So far, we've seen fantastic results and we're now recruiting for our 2023 intake.

We produce many high-quality own-label products for major retailers, and you may know some of our famous brands such as Ginsters, Soreen, Higgidy, Urban Eat, West Cornwall Pasty Company and Dickinson & Morris.

Your Degree Apprenticeship

This opportunity could be your first step in a career within the food industry which has so many possibilities We have 2 positions available for 2023 within our Finance job family.

You will work collaboratively with our Commercial and Operational teams to break down the finances and drive profitability, working to support our businesses to operate responsibly and sustainably whilst also being efficient.

You will liaise and work with colleagues across a number of functions building your stakeholder management skills to support the launch and delivery of high-quality finished food products, as well as supporting exciting business growth and change projects.

During your programme you would have 3 x 1-year placements which are all real job roles with real responsibilities.

Your studies will allow you to work towards achieving the Accountancy professional Level 7 Apprenticeship (including CIMA Accountancy up to strategic level) with our trusted learning provider.

A number of our colleagues within the business hold this qualification which has supported their career journey with us.

We will pay you a competitive starting salary for your job role (much higher than the National Minimum Wage for apprentices) as well as a great range of benefits.

Are you the Right Person?

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including Maths & English language
A commitment to building great relationships, and pride in quality, hygiene & safety
A passion for learning, and strong ambition to reach your full potential
Ability to take a flexible approach to work and working hours
As placements could be at any of our business locations, the flexibility to relocate is key and we will provide you with relocation support
