The Role

The role is for a CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator to machine motorsport and aerospace components from engineering drawings on a Fanuc controlled CNC Turning machinery.

You will be programming, setting and operating this machine using GibbsCAM, HyperMILL or EDGECAM software from engineering drawings to machine components for prestigious clients.

CNC Programming at the machine
Mori Seiki Fanuc controlled CNC Lathes.
Offline programming using either HyperMILL, GibbsCAM or EDGECAM CAD/CAM software.

Essential Duties:

Prepare and load parts onto conveyor system
Set up machines to cut or cut to specifications
Load and unload finished parts from the line
Inspect finished products for quality control
Keep work area clean and organized
Work with other team members to complete tasks as needed
Work overtime as needed

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day; must be able to stand, bend, walk, climb stairs, and lift or move items up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must be able to read and write legibly; must be able to follow written instructions as well as instructions given verbally.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£13.00-£17.00 per hour
