Mount Cook Adventure Centre are looking for maternity cover initially for a seven-month period for our Bookings Coordinator. This is an important integral post within Mount Cook and as such we are aiming to have a one-month handover with the current post holder before they go on leave.

About Mount Cook
Mount Cook is a not-for-profit outdoor centre based on the edge of the Peak District. We work with young people, schools, charities, and a variety of other groups to deliver world class outdoor experiences.
Your role will primarily be to manage and organise confirmed bookings at Mount Cook whilst supporting the Bookings & Compliance Manager.
There may be occasions where you will be required to support the operations team during busier periods or in low season when staff levels are lower.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate bookings; ensure all group information is collected, transport and subcontractors are booked where necessary, and invoices are sent within the set time frames
- Payments: enter onto booking system and cash flow, chase late payments and liaise with the finance manager
- Complete the weekly 'look ahead' schedule and communicate this to operations team
- Ensure all logs and systems are kept up to date
- Monitor group check in forms and cross check against bookings
- Manage incoming feedback and produce weekly reports for the staff team
- Monitor customer feedback and communicate with department heads
- Ensure our booking system is kept up to date with changes to pricing or resources
- Maintain and update handbooks and how to guides
- Ensure that documents and data covered by GDPR legislation are held and managed correctly
- Manage incident report forms
- Work with all staff within the centre to ensure consistent delivery of Health and Safety as an integral part of everyday working life
