ORTUS RECRUITMENT_ are seeking a
Learning Support Assistant to join our team and help our students reach their full potential in a mainstream school in the
London Borough of Camden.


As a
Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to students in the classroom, helping them understand and complete their assignments, and providing additional guidance and encouragement.

You will also work with teachers and administrators to develop individual learning plans and create a supportive learning environment. We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, and dedicated to helping students succeed.

You should have excellent communication skills, be organized and be comfortable working with children of all ages. Experience in education and/or a background in special education is a plus.

  • Be assertive, be able to take initiative and be proactive
  • Have good knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Manage behaviour effectively
  • Have strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Lead interventions to raise attainment
  • Promote the values and ethos of the school

Learning Support Assistant | London Borough of Camden

Job Types:
Full-time, Graduate


Salary:
£375.00-£425.00 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Euston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)
  • Classroom: 1 year (preferred)
