About the role

One of the most exciting new developments in our social work career pathway in Jersey has been the creation of new Advanced Social Worker roles.

Working in a team of social workers with an experienced Practice Manager and Team Manager, the post will carry a caseload of complex and challenging cases, using their social work expertise and a clear child focus to secure the best possible outcomes for ourmost vulnerable children.

With this new opportunity, Advanced Social Workers working across Jersey Children's Social Care, we aim to develop the quality of the service we provide.

This role will deliver coaching, mentoring and support to Newly Qualified (NQSWs) and experienced SocialWorkers, providing guidance, support, and best practice.

We're looking for advanced social workers, who can use their expertise, judgement and confidence to innovate and lead on improving and strengthening practice, procedure and policy.
