The Launch and Data function sits within the GSK Ware Manufacturing site's Logistics Management team.

The team is responsible for providing the site with accurate and timely data to facilitate new product launches and to ensure that all aspects of the manufacture of products are performed in a controlled manner and meets commitments to international regulatory bodies, as well as the requirements of current Good Manufacturing Practice.

Reporting into the Data Manager (for the Launch and Data team), the
Data Coordinator is responsible for managing the artwork creation and change processes


This includes:

  • Ensuring all data setup and changes are managed and completed accurately and on time.
  • Performing Systems Data Maintenance for New Production Introduction (NPI) and Global Supply for all material types (for SAP, Harmony).
  • Proactively helping to analyse data processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Actively contribute (and lead where requested) to deviation investigations and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities (include.,):


  • Responsible for the management of data creation, launches & artwork changes
  • Responsible for executing data change to planned dates generated & approved
  • Direct service provider to RSC, OSD, NPI, and other internal customers.
  • Ensure that no quality impact, cost or time loss is incurred due to a lack of or inaccuracy of data.
  • Maintain compliance in the role, department and site procedures, processes and systems.
  • Ensure adherence to EHS guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
  • Positively engage with customers and stakeholders, ensuring delivery to their agreed expectations.

About You:


This role would suit a driven and motivated individual who has experience of working in a complex Data environment (utilising SAP).

Experience of supply chain within a GMP environment would be advantageous.

Good people skills and a proven ability to work in a team (eg; flexible approach, good communication, planning and organizational skills) as well as good writing skills are needed.

You will also have a strong continuous improvement growth mindset and a willingness to work towards standardised and lean working practices.


About Ware Manufacturing Site:

Medicines at Ware are presented as either Respiratory devices or in Oral Solid Dose form.

The site holds a unique position in our network as the only site responsible for launching the company's pipeline of new medicines in these dose forms, many of which are life saving medicines.

A series of investments in new state-of-the-art equipment are being made that will support the delivery of a record number of new products.

  • Relevant qualifications and / or experience (eg; data management, good understanding of datamanagement methodologies in SAP).
