Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in the Oxfordshire, who are seeking a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE:
Childcare Lawyer

LOCATION:
Oxfordshire / Hybrid

RATE:
£50.00 to £65.00 per hour

CONTRACT: 6 month potentially ongoing, 37 hours per week

Please note that court hearings would have to be done in person._

The Role

To independently manage and progress a full caseload of Childcare Law matters through to completion
Matters will include care matters plus some PLO matters
Some advocacy may be required with and also be on the duty legal advice rota

The Person

A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
Experienced in managing a full caseload of public childcare law matters
Previous experience of working within a local authority would be essential for this position
