Due to success and growth our Client, a bespoke, all-Ireland leadership training provider, wishes to recruit a senior Client Director for NI.

This is a new, permanent opportunity.

It's a unique offering for a strong learning & development or organisational development professional with excellent commercial and business development acumen, or perhaps a Senior L&D/OD Consultant with a well established NI network.


The successful Client Director/ Senior L&D/OD Consultant will manage a portfolio of key Client accounts in NI and act as a trusted Advisor to drive the strategic development of the business.

This role offers a highly attractive salary and a very flexible approach to working hours and work pattern.


The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of key Client accounts in NI
  • Act as a trusted advisor and consult with Clients to identify training/programme needs, scope outcomes and work with facilitators to develop solutions and achieve outcomes
  • Assist in the resolution of the Client's problems
  • Liaise closing with the project coordination team to maximise communication with the facilitator/coach team to ensure timely delivery and achieve deadlines
  • Proactively identify potential for new business by assessing needs with the existing portfolio of Clients
  • Target and acquire new Clients in the target market through effective prospecting and networking and marketing activities
  • Work towards KPIs for account management generating new clients, follow up on leads etc
  • Actively support the businesses' marketing strategy
  • Business strategy development and support

The Person

  • CIPD/HR/L&D qualified
  • Experience of designing and delivering bespoke L&D solutions for clients
  • Experience of engaging with stakeholders to diagnose problems and develop solutions
  • Deep knowledge of the Learning and development industry, including:
  • Best practice L&D design and delivery
  • Performance management processes
  • Competency frameworks
  • Leadership and management development practices
  • Talent management and development
  • Executive coaching practices
  • Measurement of interventions
  • Assessment and development centres
  • Best practice business development and client management processes and behaviours
  • Strong HR and L&D network in greater Belfast and Northern Ireland
  • Self starter
