We are a leading and progressive home improvement company based in Chorley, Lancashire. Due to an increase in workload we are looking for an experienced surveyor/estimator to join our team.Experience in extensions, conservatories, existing conservatory build refurbishments, orangeries, garage conversions, windows and doors. We deal with uPVC and Aluminium plus solid roof's and glass roof's.
Your main duties will be as follows:
- Undertake surveys for all of our various types of projects
- Prepare cost budgets and estimates for new clients
- Prepare detailed and well written proposals for each client
- Work with the design team and sales consultants
- To lead the introduction of a software driven estimating package
- To negotiate with existing suppliers on obtaining better terms and actively seek the most competitive prices
- Work with the finance manager to produce accurate cost management and analysis reports upon completion of projects
- Produce CAD and Base Layout designs
You will be proficient with:
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
- Adobe Acrobat
- Have excellent IT knowledge
- Proven track record of working in a similar role previously
- Excellent maths and english language skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Excellent organisational skills
- Be willing to work as part of a team
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Minimum 5 years experience required
- Full clean UK driving licence
No Agencies
Pay:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- surveying: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
