Student Fees Administrator to work at one of out centrally based departments starting ASAP for approx. 12 weeks working 36.5 hrs p/w and paying £15.60 p/h + Holiday pay.
  • Duties include:

International Opportunities

a) Administering funding for international opportunities, currently provided through the Turing scheme (the UK's successor programme to Erasmus+), issuing student documentation and grant funding in line with funding agency requirements and collating student feedback.

Fund management
a) Ensuring funds are managed diligently with accurate financial records across the schemes
Selection Criteria:

  • A high standard of education, or equivalent experience.
  • A genuine interest in the area of student funding, along with an empathy with students.
  • Ability to employ tact and discretion when dealing with a range of sensitive and confidential student information sources.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with numerical and personal data.
  • Experience of maintaining effective administrative systems including large data sets with the ability to identify fresh approaches to streamline processes.
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service and dealing with enquirers in a confident and professional manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, which can be adapted for a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively and under mínimal supervision, organising and prioritising workloads in a busy environment and taking personal responsibility for achieving deadlines.
  • Demonstrable ability of working effectively with others, co-operating with colleagues and helping the team to achieve its goals.
