Long Acres Gardens was established in 2010 and now employs a team of skilled professionals offering garden maintenance for small domestic gardens to larger estates in and around Henley in Arden and Warwickshire.

Job Role:

The main duties include supervising, and controlling the work schedule of the garden maintenance team. Providing advice and assistance where necessary to ensure tasks are performed properly.

Other responsibilities include, training new staff members, liaising with clients and providing feedback to the directors on a daily basis.

Key Knowledge:

Have extensive knowledge of gardening and plants
Be able to identify plant distress i.e. pest/disease
Be competent in maintaining gardens to a high standard
Ensuring all work is completed adhering to all health & safety guidelines including all team members

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Hedge Cutting
Planting
Pruning
Weeding
PA1 & PA6 spraying certificate
Border maintenance
Mowing / Strimming
Specialist plant care
Daily reporting to the Directors to provide regular feedback
Organising the team and setting priorities, plan and delegate tasks
Training staff daytoday and evaluating staff members performance
Evaluate new equipment and techniques, continue to improve knowledge
Experience in supervising a small team and strong communication skills
Ensure the maintenance of all tools and equipment
