Project Coordinator - Stockton-on-Tees, United Kingdom - Integrated Utility Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Integrated Utility Services, and we require a Project Coordinator to provide active on-site management and dispensing of duties under the CDM Principal Contractor role.
This role is based at our Stockton-on-Tees office.

IUS, part of the Northern Powergrid group, is an Independent Connections provider (ICP) providing a wide range of services on public & private electrical distribution systems.
This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Management of on-site construction programme
- Responsible for health safety and welfare
- Responsible for contractor and IUS labour performance
- Site inductions
- Liaison with the client, third parties and the public
- On site quality management
- Resolve site and engineering issues
- Monitor and report daily weekly progress to the project manager
- Support the project manager producing and compiling delivery and contract documentation
- Manage and mitigate daily risks and issues to meet and improve programmed and budgeted delivery costs
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, lead and proactively manage all site activities on the project sites across Yorkshire.
- Full understanding of the work scope, identify variations to change of scope or additional works and controlling change requests,
- Establishment of safe systems of work on site in accordance with health and safety legislation including CDM where applicable,
- Liaise with client(s), landowners and other third parties,
- Management of subcontractors,
- Produce and maintain site documentation, records and reporting to the Project Manager.

Essential Qualifications & Attributes:
- Site Management and adherence to CDM working as a Principal Contractor,
- Control and management of subcontractors,
- SMSTS and CSCS
- Experience in the NRSWA code of practice,
- Knowledge of scheduling of work and resources,
- Able to produce method statements,
- Risk assessment and mitigation measures,
- Maintain site records and reporting to the Project Manager,
- Customer facing role.
Desirable Qualifications & Attributes:
- ONC or HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Qualification in Civil, Utilities or Electrical infrastructure
- Northern Powergrid Substation Access Authorisation
- NRSWA Street work supervisor

£35,000.00-£50,890.00 per year
