Tutor The Nation is looking for a new team member to help lead the growth of our rapidly expanding charity.

We need someone who can take ownership of a number of workstreams, spreading the word about our charity and ensuring it remains financially viable.

Our Growth & Fundraising Executive will spend the majority of their time on initiatives to expand and support our pool of volunteers - from overseeing our corporate partnerships, to leading our campus recruitment efforts, the role will provide a broad range of exposure to the world of volunteer recruitment and retention.

Alongside growth work, the Executive will be responsible for supporting the Trustees with their ongoing focus on fundraising and will help to maintain contact with existing donors.

• Day to day monitoring and administration of charity's financial accounts
• Working with Chair of Trustees and Board on creation, refinement, and implementation of strategy
• Delivering the charity's growth objectives from the frontline
• Preparation of reports and overseeing ongoing contact with donors
• Preparation of papers on charity performance for Board meetings
• Representation of charity within external networks and at other events
• Oversight and support of volunteer recruitment and onboarding work

• Strong numerical ability
• Strong networking skills (or preexisting relationships within the thirdsector education space)
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate the charity's goals in an engaging and effective manner
• Eye for detail
• Ability to track charity's performance against predetermined goals and alter team focus accordingly
• Willingness to go 'above and beyond' in order to achieve the charity's goals
• An active interest in tutoring, social mobility, and education
• An appreciation of the wide array of support a disadvantaged student needs to thrive (including appreciation gained through lived experience)
