Description

We are looking for an Education & Environmental Activities Assistant to support the delivery of fun educational activities connecting families to nature across our outdoor project sites.

We are looking for someone who is flexible with availability to work weekend, holiday or evening events based at Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve with travel to other project sites across Hastings and Rother.

Summary of role:

With an interest in nature and the environment, the Education & Environmental Activities Assistant will work flexibly to support on a range of activities to engage children with the outdoors such as pond dipping, minibeast hunting, den building, fire lighting and crafts.

You will also assist with events such as family days, art in the park sessions, forest school, beach school, arts and crafts sessions, heritage walks and talks.

There will be opportunities to support with school trips and as well as development of education sessions groups for the right person.

£12.30 per hour
