The Role


Pinnacle Group are looking for a Facilities Assistant To support Total FM Services related operations within the Clacton PFI Contracts to ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation the contract specification.


Duties/Key Responsibilities

  • Support of all Contract Services delivered either inhouse or by contractors effective management of contractors on site
  • Support with contract monitoring in consultation with stakeholders and the SPV (QED).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.
  • Complete onsite audits in conjunction with the Hard FM Manager and Compliance Manager
  • Review contractor risk assessments and method statements for specific jobs and servicing
  • Logging jobs on the helpdesk and tracking progress
  • Tracking and monitoring staffs training needs and booking training where needed
  • Assist the Hard FM & Assistant Contract Manager to develop and maintain systems and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Deliver services with a full understanding of the contract specification (particularly output specifications) and statutory requirements
  • Build professional relationships with key external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction, whilst also meeting the organisation's strategic and financial aims.
  • Ability to work closely with the senior management team
  • Build professional relationships with colleagues
  • Help facilitate clear communication between all contract stakeholders
  • Build professional relationships with contractors

Skills Required:


  • Good time management and understand flexibility needed within the role
  • Have excellent IT knowledge and an understanding of software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Be adaptable to learn inhouse software systems and respond positively to and learn from change, be receptive to new ideas
  • Complete a training programme to enhance skills and knowledge inline with the specific job role
  • Make decisions that facilitate long term business success and which contribute effectively to key business need
  • Recognise the business importance of customer service
  • Establish rapport with the Client, customers and key players
  • Demonstrate tolerance and equality remaining calm, objective and in control in stressful situations
  • Be sensitive to business priorities, community feelings and colleagues needs.
