We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Recruitment Coordinator to join our People Management team and play a vital role in attracting and retaining talented individuals to join our organisation.
As the Recruitment Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to manage staff recruitment and selection processes at City College Plymouth.
You will manage innovative and creative strategies to attract the best talent while implementing efficient and effective recruitment processes to ensure timely and quality hiring.
Interviews are planned to take place on the 20th of September 2023.
You must have:
- Implement strategies to attract top talent, ensuring the College remains an employer of choice.
- Focus on direct hire placements, reducing reliance on agency recruitment.
- Support the College in identifying and addressing staffing requirements for the academic year.
- Collaborate as a business partner across the organisation to understand and resolve staffing needs.
- Work closely with and provide expert advice to the People Management Team.
- Liaise with the People Management Team to facilitate the smooth onboarding of new staff members.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of authorisation paperwork and recruitment processes.
- Manage the shortlisting and interview processes, ensuring strict compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.
- Take accountability for understanding staffing demands, forecasting, and staffing budgets across the College.
- Collaborate with College managers to ensure a thorough and timely recruitment process.
- Manage all administrative tasks related to recruitment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Proven experience in managing recruitment and selection processes.
- Strong understanding of direct hire placements and reducing reliance on agency recruitment.
- Ability to handle largescale recruitment projects and process reviews efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance and guidelines, particularly related to safeguarding and education.
- Proficient in understanding staffing demands, forecasting, and staffing budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and engage as a strategic partner.
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail.
