Job Title:
Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time)

Responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Dishwashing (KP duties)
• Basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping/cooking vegetables, grains and making sauces
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
• Assisting in maintaining inventory and restocking supplies
• Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Job Schedule:

• Parttime position: 2 to 3 days per week
• Opportunity to increase hours from February 2024 onward

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment, with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to cut vegetables and follow simple recipes
• Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and utensils
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods

Preferred Skills:

• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen procedures
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
