Description

CNC Machinists covering both/or either or Milling and Turning.
Working with a medium sized company in a modern workshop based in Romford. Working on Products in the Aerospace and Defence sectors. Ideally with an ONC / HND in Engineering or a manufacturing apprenticeship.

Looking at a short to medium length contract. You could either be a
Setter/Operator or Setter/Programmer.

  • Use of both Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
  • On the CNC Milling side you will be using HAAS, Mori Seiki or Matsuura machines.
  • On the CNC Turning side you will be using Miyano, Star Sliding Head or Doosan Puma machines.

Additional Info

  • Able to make program amendments / adjustments based on work they receive from engineering.
  • Aerospace experience ideally or equivalent4/5 axis experience capability.
  • Vertical / Horizontal machining experience
  • Ability to diagnose / trouble shoot machine if faults emerge.
  • Good positive attitude
  • Works great within a team.
