Job description

Fixed term grant funded to 31/03/2025

Full time 37.00 hours per week

We are currently looking for a Data, Quality and Performance Officer to join our team.

To oversee the quality and contractual compliance of participant files and provide information to the Senior Lead. Ensuring the systems are robust for Welsh Government funding.

The main duties of the post;

i.

Assist in delivering the successful running of Adult Learning/Multiply projects through close and effective working with mentors, participants, employers and partner organisations.

ii.

Assist the project in ensuring that all areas are delivered in accordance with agreements made with partner organisations and aligned to Welsh Government objectives/guidelines.

iii.

In conjunction with the Finance Officer, set up databases and systems deemed necessary by the Adult Learning Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the project.

iv.

Monitor, evaluate and make recommendations to ensure that the MIS meets the evolving needs of the project and that all staff are able to use it effectively.

v. Develop and maintain a monitoring, reporting and evaluation system for the project, with robust and accurate record keeping systems.

vi. Assist the Manager in maintaining a quality assurance system to ISO 9001 and Charter Mark standards.

vii. Implement and maintain a quality monitoring programme and timetable using established standards of service.

viii. Monitor performance through gathering data and produce statistical reports.

ix. Advise the Adult Learning manager at agreed intervals on progress towards performance targets.

x. Assist in promoting the projects and its participants to additional potential partners.

xi. Occasionally work unsocial hours, including evening and weekend work as required.

xii. To undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post.

You will have experience in/of;

  • Experience of Welsh Government Funded projects.
  • Experience of working with hardtoreach groups e.g. longterm unemployed etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and implementing new procedures and systems
Ideally you will have;
The post requires

  • Be educated to Level 4 standard or have substantial quality assurance experience.
  • Qualified Accounting Technician or actively studying towards AAT or equivalent.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
