The Sales Support role will primarily be responsible for providing high-level office based point of contact for our customers in UK and Ireland and our European Distributor network as well as supporting the UKIE Sales Team.


Reports to:

Customer Care Manager


Responsibilities

  • Serve as officebased point of contact for Bioquell customers in UKIE alongside Service Centre of Excellence. Involvement in exceptional circumstances main route remains through Customer Service.
  • Customer support as needed:
  • New account set up.
  • Complaints fielding, credit processing and liaison with Customer Services to satisfy customer requests.
  • Pricing communication and quotations; maintain pricing files and Master Agreements.
  • Support customer communication on new / delisted products, product queries and deliveries.
  • Equipment proposals and tracking for Chemical business.
  • Management of certificate requests COAs, SDS etc.
  • Channel technical Customer queries to the relevant support function of Sales Team for Chemical Business.
  • Process Customer Questionnaires, Audit requests and Agreements.
  • Manage Customer and Sales Team requests for literature and quote requests.
  • Support with Customer Notifications.
  • Manage the Explosive Precursor Regulation process to ensure orders are not blocked.
  • Maintain customer master data
  • Assist with quotations as required for Bioquell Customers.

Distributor/Sales Support:

Serve as office-based point of contact for EMEA Distributors


Team support:

  • Assist in the set up and logistics for Team meetings and attendance as required.
  • Maintain Team Safety and Training records.
  • Assistance to Sales Support Team.
  • Manage sales reports for the Sales Team and issue regular reports.
  • Manage the setup of business events with associated logistics.
  • Update information in SAP and CRM systems on a regular basis.
  • Provide ongoing and initial support to new Sales Starters.
  • Dynamics updates when territories are amended.
  • BU Admin for Dynamics CRM and BQ Superuser.
  • Maintain distributor training records and be point of contact for training records and bookings.
  • Support TM Introduction to processes / systems / products.
  • Requirement to Travel as advised by the Business for Sales Meetings and Customer events

Requirements:


  • Quote generation experience related to chemical and capital equipment.
  • Able to analyse data and production of data trends to support Sales.
  • Excellent Customer Service and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Evidence of goal achievement under time pressure.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail across multiple work streams.
  • Ability to negotiate with customers and colleagues to meet delivery time scales and manage expectations.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Tenacity and positivity are a must.
  • Demonstratable skill working as part of diverse united team.
  • Fully competent on Excel and Word.
