Summary

We are looking for a site supervisor/caretaker/cleaner for our lovely village school. The school has been well maintained and is in excellent condition. You will join a friendly and welcoming team of staff.

The job will consist of keeping our school beautifully clean and tidy inside and out and ensuring that our school and grounds are safe for our children.

It will require vigilance and awareness of repairs and maintenance that need to be carried out so that this can be carried out either by the site supervisor or by our handyman or other contractors.

It will also involve carrying out various checks such as fire alarms and water.

To give some idea, our current site supervisor works 1 hour before school and 3.5 after school but this can be altered to suit your circumstances and it would be possible to do the role just in the time after school if you just want an evening job.

If you are a friendly, cheerful individual who is self-motivated, enjoys some independence in their work, takes a pride in a job done well and is keen to work with our team of staff in a welcoming small school, this could be the job for you

It is a satisfying job where there can be a real sense of ownership and pride in looking after our school.
