We are looking for a Cutting Operative to join our team completing checks and monitoring the slicing of potatoes into French Fries according to current production specifications, whilst carrying out adjustments to GME cutter modules and re-grading equipment.

Based at our Whittlesey plant, you will be responsible for checking cutters for size and irregular cuts, checks for correct set up and replacing boxes, cutting blades and tubes, and ensuring that equipment is functioning correctly.

You will complete all necessary paperwork and procedures fully, accurately and without omissions (e.g. potato size and hourly temperature checks, safe isolation, start up check sheets and cleaning records), monitor the Welliver graders and camera systems for correct potatoes entering the correct cutter gun, and adjusting as required.

We are looking for someone who can really make a difference to our plant, who brings experience of Health and Safety, having responsibility not only for your personal safety, but that of all personal including others who may be affected by the Company's activities.

You will promote and enforce behaviours and actions that will prevent all contamination threats to products whether physical, microbial or chemical, and challenge any unsafe behaviours.
