Vacancy
We are seeking a permanent (full-time) Forklift Operator to join our dedicated team.

As Forklift Operator, you will ensure that all fork lift product movements in the yard/packhouse are completed effectively, efficiently and safely.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform all forklift duties effectively, efficiently and safely within the allocated department.
• Load product into and unload from daffodil bulb grader.
• Stack and move product where required in yard/field.
• Ensure the forklift truck is filled with diesel.
• Comply with all H&S procedures and conduct daily forklift checks.
• Ensure you operate your forklift in accordance with your training.
• Ensure your area of work is kept safe for all employees, contractors or visitors.

Key Attributes

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck certificate.
• Must have a reasonable command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in agriculture/horticulture is ideal.
• Effective team player.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and varying priorities.
• Ability to work long, flexible hours.
• Full UK driving licence.
