Osborne appointments are currently recruiting for a Planning Coordinator Permanent position for our client based in St Albans.

Planning Coordinator Responsibilities:


  • Responsible to maintain, update and improve the existing system for both the packaging and manufacturing departments
  • Utilise available planning systems to convert sales forecasts/live orders into achievable production and material planning that balance customer orders and operational cost efficiency
  • Responsible for maintaining the stock control system
  • Lead daily scheduling meetings with relevant stakeholders as and when required
  • Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining stock codes and bill of materials as required
  • Ensure ongoing communication occurs with the operations team to ensure accurate information is exchanged
  • Propose and implement continuous improvements in own area and ensure all safety and quality guidelines are followed
  • Work alongside all team members to ensure team objectives are achieved
  • Have good attention for detail
  • Have Excellent organisational skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all team members
  • Be computer literate, with fantastic Excel skills and experience of ERP/MRP systems
  • Be willing to understand the purchase order processing
