Job description

Hull Trinity House Academy are looking to appoint 2 x PE Apprentices to join our academy in January 2024 on a fulltime, temporary basis.

As a PE apprentice you are encouraged to work as part of the team to gain as much practical experience as possible throughout the duration of your course.

During your apprenticeship you will report to the teaching staff in the PE department. Under supervision you will work under the direct instruction of teaching staff, either in a classroom, gym, sports hall, or sports field, with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher. You will study towards the NVQ Community Activator Coach Level 2. There is an expectation you will attend all college sessions and complete assignments on time. We want to attract the best apprentices to work in Delta Academies Trust, as such we pay above the national apprenticeship pay rates for all apprentices. You don't have to wait for a year to be paid your age related National Minimum Wage, we pay this from your first day with us.
