Description

Our client is a leading light in the defence sector and they are currently going recruiting for a post-qualified accountant to join their busy finance function, specifically to support the manufacturing side of the business.

Joining a growing team, the role will look after one person and business partnering with the manufacturing function and duties will include

  • Delivering accurate and timely management information relating to products UPCs
  • Partnering with manufacturing new business team working to generate cost estimates during bid phase
  • Generation and implementation of business cases that will support continued investment in the manufacturing capabilities
  • Provide valuable support to the SAP 4/Hana implementation lead with regarding manufacturing business processes
  • Driving continuous improvement from a finance perspective
Experience of SAP would be a distinct advantage and exposure to MES would be a great added bonus.

Experience working with manufacturing metrics and KPIs would also be highly valued.


Whilst this role will be based in Bolton, there will be occasional travel according to the needs of the business.
