Job Description:


Reporting to the Events Manager, the Marketing and Events Graduate will support the Events Team with the organisation and execution all national events and exhibitions, and installation and maintenance of internal displays and demonstration vehicles.


Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Attend and support at events and exhibitions across the UK manning reception, keeping the stand clean and tidy, networking with customers, replenishing merchandise and literature.
  • Responsible for organising smaller regional trade exhibitions, including arranging product, literature and merchandise, and liaising with event organisers and sales attendees.
  • Support the Events Manager with the organisation of larger events and exhibitions, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time.
  • Support sales lead generation and data capture for exhibitions and events, ensuring postevent analysis and followups.
  • Coordination of all internal display projects based on brand messaging, including briefing suppliers and arranging installation with onsite departments including facilities, health and safety, and security.
  • Coordination of all marketing requirements for the sales and marketing demonstration vehicles.
  • Working with suppliers and agencies to obtain quotes, raise purchase orders, ensure orders are booked in and invoices paid on time.
  • Opportunity to support and coach the Events Intern based on experience.
  • Continue to invest time in professional development and other relevant training opportunities.

Qualifications:


To be eligible for the position you must hold a Full UK driving license.

  • Have a friendly and approachable personality.

  • Have strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
  • Be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Take a proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to change.

  • Have a flexible approach to work including out of office hours.
  • Have good overall standards of literacy and numeracy.
  • Be IT Literate, with a good practical knowledge of standard Windows software, including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Expected Start Date:

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon - Thurs and Fri with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break

  • Please note that the job will occasionally require travelling for events across the UK, with overnight stays and working out of office hours._
  • Please note this is a 2 year fixed term role._
