Learning Support Assistant - Brent - ASAP Start or January 2023 Start


Are you passionate about supporting pupils? Do you have a passion for providing pupils with the very best care and education? If so, this role could be for you.

A busy and exciting Brent Primary School are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join theirteam ASAP or from January 2023.

This is a term time only role, working Monday - Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm. Pay for this role is £80-£95 per day.

This 3 form entry Brent Primary School welcome pupils from Nursery to Year 6. They pride themselves in providing a supportive, community environment within which children can flourish.

About the role:

The Learning Support Assistant will be required to support students' academic, emotional, social and behavioural development.


The successful Learning Support Assistant will be required to provide both in class and out of class support according to the individual needs of each student.


The Learning Support Assistant will work with students to encourage them to act independently and provide positive reinforcements, praise and reward.

Applicants should be prepared to support EYFS and KS1 pupils.


Key Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:

  • Ability to plan effective plans and actions for pupils at risk of underachieving
  • Ability to deliver tailored intervention programmes
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Ability to create excellent working relationships with students
