Sussex Back Pain Clinic has a new opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate clinical assistant to join our team This is a part-time, employed position for hours per week at our clinic in Hove.


Full training for all aspects of the position will be given and no previous experience is necessary but a background in Nursing or Sports & Exercise Science or as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) would be an advantage.
We're a progressive and dedicated centre for spinal related conditions.

You'll be part of a clinic that has one main goal:

This is a unique opportunity to work within an established, leading and forward thinking clinic alongside a close, enthusiastic team of osteopaths and rehabilitative trainers, with the primary role being to look after patient well-being and to deliver our specialist non
- surgical treatment protocols by means of mechanical decompression therapy for patients with complex spinal conditions.

The specific tasks for this position are as follows:

  • To meet and greet patients and ensure that they are happy and comfortable
  • To offer support, reassurance and information for patients
  • To set up, harness, deliver and monitor IDD Therapy using the Accuspina unit
  • To report and inform the IDD clinicians of progress or changes in symptoms of patients undergoing treatment and give input into the ongoing assessment process
  • Following up of patients by telephone and input into clinical audit
  • Helping to compile case studies

We are looking for someone who is available for an immediate start and ideally you would live in the Brighton & Hove or immediate surrounding area.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
£11.65 per hour
